Glossary — every term in plain English
The short answer
A plain-English definition of every term we use: AIFSO, the AIFSO Score (300–850), the AI Readiness Glimpse (1–5), The Naming Test, the 90 days of watching, the Dual Domain Sidecar, and the rest.
No jargon should ever survive a conversation with us. If a term shows up anywhere on the site and you want it in plain words, it's here.
- AIFSO
- Artificial Intelligence Full-Stack Optimization — our method for measuring whether AI can find, understand, trust, and name your business, and what to fix first when it can't.
- AI answer
- When someone asks ChatGPT, Gemini, or Perplexity "who's the best [trade] near me?", the AI replies with a short list of businesses. Being on that list is an AI answer.
- AI Readiness Glimpse (free)
- Our free scan. It reads your site the way AI does and scores it 1–5 — no card, no account, about a minute.
- AI Readiness Score (1–5)
- The free Glimpse's headline number, from 1 to 5 — a quick, plain-English read on how AI-ready your visible site signals are today.
- AIFSO Score (300–850)
- The paid report's headline number. Think credit score, but for AI answers: one honest reading of how ready your business is to get named.
- The Naming Test
- Where we ask AI your buyers' real questions and count who it names — you, a competitor, or no one.
- 90 days of watching
- Included with your report: for 90 days we automatically re-run the whole thing every week and email you what moved — plus 3 re-runs you can trigger yourself.
- Dual Domain Sidecar
- A second, AI-ready site we build and run on its own domain, sitting beside your existing website without touching it.
- AIFSO-7 priorities
- The prioritized fix-list in your report: what to fix first, what to do next, and what to safely ignore.
- ASEO+
- The deeper trust-and-authority recommendations that make the AI engines treat you like the obvious answer.
- Sidecar Blueprint
- Exactly how to turn your score into an AI-ready answer system beside your site — whether you build it or we do.
- SEO — Search Engine Optimization
- The twenty-year-old craft of getting Google to rank your pages. Still matters — it's just no longer the whole game.
- Structured data (schema)
- A machine-readable label on your site that tells computers your name, services, hours, and area — like a barcode for your business facts.
- Crawler
- The software AI and search engines send to read your website. If the crawler can't get in — or can't make sense of the page — you might as well not exist to it.
- Google Business Profile
- The free listing that powers your presence on Google Maps and local search. One of the loudest sources AI checks your facts against.
